Romeo and Juliet

Advice Letter:
Dear Romeo,
I have some advice to give to you about your love situation with Rosaline and now Juliet. You like Rosaline first you asked her out, and she then turned you down, and that hurt you severely. Maybe you think that you like Juliet when your actually using her to try to get your mind off of Rosaline. If you do marry Juliet then your marriage will not last that long because deep down you actually still have feelings for Rosaline. When that does happen you already went through the mess of telling the Capulets about this, and had to go through all that mess. Then a couple years down the road you will have children with the wrong person. As your children grow up you won’t get along will Juliet, and you will fight a lot. When you fight your kids will see that, and think that, that is ok, and that’s how love is suppose to be.
From this you will probably be judged by a lot of people, and if you do divorce Juliet then it might be harder to find another girl. You also have to watch out for Tybalt because you broke her heart so he will be very angry with you and want to kill you. Then possibly the Capulets and Montagu’s will fight again with each other even worst. It will probably be harder to control the fight than it has before. It could get to the point where it won’t be safe for you to come out of your home. I think before you do marry Juliet you think about first, and make sure it’s the right thing to do. You need to keep in mind how your going to tell people about this situation.

Quote:
ACT 2, SCENE 5, 25-26
I am aweary, give me leave awhile. Fie, how my bones ache! what a jaunce have I!

Interpretation:
She is saying that she is to tired to tell Juliet what Romeo said about her. Juliet wants to know the answer now, and she is saying if she is tired to talk then why is she talking about herself about being to tired.

Quote: ACT 3, SCENE 1, 94-95 Ay, ay, a scratch, a scratch. Marry, 'tis enough. where is my page? Go, villain, fetch a surgeon.
Interpretation: Mercutio is hurt because Tybalt stabbed him. Mercutio is saying that it's just a scratch, but it is enough to kill him. He is telling Tybalt to get a surgeon quickly, but it is to late.

BIG FIGHT: MONTUGUES AND CAPULETS

Big dispute between Capulets and Montogues. Mercutio, Tybalt, and Romeo had a huge fight on the street late at night when everybody was asleep. It all began when Tybalt ran into Mercutio while trying to find Romeo to have a dull with him. Mercutio wanted to fight Tybalt instead of Tybalt wanting to fight Romeo. Tybalt didn’t want to fight Mercutio, but Romeo didn’t want to fight Tybalt. Mercutio got in the way, and accidentally got stabbed. So Mercutio died a slow an agonizing pain. While Tybalt ran off, but Tybalt came back latter that night to kill Romeo, but this time Romeo excepted the fight. The reason why is because Romeo was full of anger over Mercutio death. When Tybalt and Romeo fight Romeo ends up killing Tybalt. For punishment towards Romeo he has been banished from the county never to come back. Now there is big grievance for the Montugues and Capulets.

Garrett Ritzert,

There are some rules and regulations in my house that I have to follow or else I will be punished. Also if I feel this punishment are reasonable or not.
I have some rules that I have to follow if I don’t want to get in trouble. Over the weekend I have to dust and windex everything in the house. When I get home I have to do the dry the dishes and put them away while Libby washes them. After that I have to burn garbage if needed, and take care of the pigs. The rule that I think is the most serious is taking care of the pigs because if I do a good job dad gives us a hundred dollars at the end. Also I like taking care of them the pretty fun. The rule that has some flexibility is the dust and windex. The reason why is because I usually go outside and help my dad with something. I think the reasons why they have these rules are because they are just trying to help us with the real world. Yes I do think that they are reasonable.
Yea my parent will understand if I did tell them that I don’t like my chores, but I don’t think though they will change it to something easier. So that’s why I just suck it up and do what they ask me to do for them. I know what will happen if I refuse to do a chore, and I know it won’t be pretty. The possible consequences might be not allowed on the computer or play any wii games or playstation2 games. These punishments are fair because these things are what I play with the most.
No they really don’t other than if I do something with my phone then they will take it but other than that not really. For example if I have a bad grade I am not allowed to play the wii until its back up to a good grade. Yes I try my best not to break the rules and face the consequences. I don’t want for the to lose the trust because if I do I know that it will take a lot to show them that I am trust worthy. When my mom was a kid in the morning she had to pick beans, and if she didn’t she wasn’t allowed to got swimming until she did. My dad had to get up early to farm the cows and if he didn’t he was allowed to got out and party. At the time probably not, but now that they are parents they understand why they had to do that.
As you can see, there is some stuff that I have to do, and if I don’t then there can be serious and not so serious consequence.

QUOTE:
ACT 4, SCENE 5
"Ha! let me see her. Out alas! She's cold,Her blood is settled, and her joints are stiff; Life and these lips have long been separated. Death lies on her like an untimely frost
Upon the sweetest flower of all the field."

INTERPETATION:
She is dead, and she feel cool because her blood has settled. Life is now gone from her. Death is with her now and will be forever.

Garrett Ritzert,

Juliet was trying to find a way to get to Romeo. So the Nurse will help her escape that night to get to Romeo. So she asks the Nurse to help her pick out a dress for tomorrows wedding. They actually are discussing how they are going to escape. They tell the Friar to be ready with a horse around midnight. As the night goes on the clock strikes midnight and there plan starts to fall into action. They were going to sneak out the front door; Capulet is down there talking to the Paris. They took Juliet’s sheets and tied them together so they could sneak out the window to meet the Friar. They were running late now, so the Friar got tired of sitting there waiting for them so he took the horse back and went to sleep.
Juliet is the one to climb out the widow first then the nurse follow after her. The Nurse grabs the sheets and throughs them back into the widow. They go to where they are to meet the Friar, he isn’t there and they couldn’t wait for very long so the decide to take a short cut through the woods. It was really dark out, and they could see nothing. They were scared because they could hear the holing from the wolves close by. All of a sudden they hear a deep breathing right beside them, and then it growled so they knew instantly that it was a wolf. They fought at it with the best they could do, but the wolf go the better of them.
The next day some hunters came up to the Capulets to let them know what has happened to the Nurse and Juliet. Balthasar told Romeo what happen to them so he went to the village into the vault to see Juliet’s battered body. He grief over her body and seen a dagger in the vault and he asked the Friar to leave, and so the Friar did what he was told. Romeo preyed then he took the dagger and stabbed himself. Latter on the Friar went back in and seen what Romeo has done. Latter in the day everybody found out about the diversion they decided to forget each other differences, and become good friend with each other. Now because of this story hopefully everybody will respect each others differences.

QUOTE:
ACT 5, SCENE 3
"Death, that hath sucked the honey of thy breath,Hath had no power yet upon thy beauty.Thou art not conquered. Beauty's ensign yet Is crimson in thy lips and in thy cheeks,
And death's pale flag is not advancèd there."
INTERPETATION:
Evan though Juliet has died the color is still there, and death has not pulled it out of her. There is still red in her lips and in her cheeks. Death has not advanced on her yet.
